J & A planned an incredible multi-culture wedding celebration in Golden, BC, blending the groom’s vibrant Indian traditions with classic Canadian elements in a way that felt thoughtful, meaningful, and true to who they are as a couple. They wove it all together with their shared love for adventure and the mountains — a theme that followed us everywhere we went that day.
Golden is one of those places that never stops delivering when it comes to scenery, and this wedding made the most of it. We made the steep drive up Mount 7, climbing all the way to the launch point where paragliders leap into the valley below. With sweeping mountain backdrops in every direction, it was the perfect spot for portraits — dramatic, wild, and completely fitting for a couple who loves adventure.
After portraits, the groom quite literally took off, paragliding all the way down the mountain to the ceremony site at Golden Riverfront Campground. It was one of those moments you can’t plan anywhere else. The campground also happened to be the very place J & A first went camping together as a couple, making the ceremony location feel even more meaningful.
Their ceremony was family-focused and full of laughs, surrounded by nature and mountains in every direction. It felt relaxed, emotional, and grounded.
From there, everyone gathered at the Golden Civic Centre to continue the celebration. The evening was filled with a delicious Indian buffet, joyful dancing, and the kind of energy that comes from bringing cultures, families, and traditions together in one unforgettable place. It was a wedding day that reflected not just where they were married, but who they are and what they love most.
